Karve Energy Inc. named Top Junior Producer at the 2019 EPAC Awards
Congratulations to Karve Energy Inc. for being named Top Junior Producer at the 6th Annual EPAC Awards luncheon held at the Calgary Petroleum Club on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
The EPAC Awards are hosted by The Explorers and Producers Association of Canada. The EPAC Awards promote and celebrate achievement, business success and entrepreneurship among Canada’s independent oil and gas producers. The Top Junior Producer award is awarded to a business producing between 10,000 and 25,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day during its latest fiscal year.
Nominees are evaluated against their peers on metrics such as production & cash flow growth and return for investors. They will also be measured for standards of excellence and leadership in community engagement, environmental stewardship, technical innovation and entrepreneurship.

- Strath Resources Ltd.
- Surge Energy Inc.
- Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd.
- Velvet Energy Ltd.
The other award categories for Canada-based public or private companies include:
Top Emerging Producer: To qualify for this award, the applicant must be producing less than 10,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Top Intermediate/Senior Producer: To qualify for this award, the applicant must have achieved average production greater than 25,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day during its latest fiscal year.
